Qubestreet Partners With Startups Nigeria
We are happy to announce that Startups Nigeria is now partnering with Qubestreet in order to promote Social Media and Web 2.0 events in Nigeria and Africa.
Qubestreet is a pan-African media & entertainment start-up based in Lagos and Johannesburg, with the goal of uniting Africans through interactive solutions, events, publications and new media interactive projects across different niche markets.
Founded by Francis Oghuma, Qubestreet is an emerging media empire with several brands such as 1709 Media (digital & new media technology), Street Press (publishing), Mahsive Promotions (events production and branding), Naijaborn (social networking), Ilueko (connecting and sharing sites & sounds of the new lagos mega city), and lots more.
Presently, we are launching an events platform called Nigeria 2.0 (www.nigeria20.com), which would serve as Nigeria’s social media & Web 2.0 events portal to feature Web 2.0 Conferences, Expos, Workshops, Barcamps, Facebook Developer Garages, Twestivals, Tweet-ups, Meetups, Mash-ups, Start-ups as well as Qmeets.
The platform would also showcase and award the best social media sites and startups emerging from Nigeria and connect the developers, entrepreneurs, founders, and corporate organizations together via the digital and new media space.
We have already started working on the Lagos Twestival, scheduled for February 12, 2009. You can follow the event updates @LagosTwestival.
Personally, I am delighted to be working with Qubestreet as media partner on these projects, as we are poised to promote Nigeria’s Web 2.0 Industry to the world. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these projects, please contact us.

I don’t know how much you’ll agree with me, but this is an event I would have loved to attend, it’s either of 2 things….1) I am living on mass or 2)adequate information is not available
which is which?
