I think the awardees deserve these awards as their contributions and achievements are quite obvious. However, I’m not sure whether Technology Africa is using this awards to get the attention of some of these individuals and companies. Whatever the case, I guess it celebrates Nigeria’s tech achievers and achievements.

It would be interesting to see more achievements from these individuals and companies in the future, as we hope to also recognise pioneers of Nigeria’s Web 2.0 and Digital Media Industry, as well as honour the best players in our web industry in the future.

I m researching exclusively into West African IT services industry, and looking at Nigeria at a broader perspective, I see a lot of Consulting and Technology which could be roped into this country. Talent Development is the key and Nigeria can be one of the countries munching an impressive pie of the Outsourcing business. Develop Talent. Partner. Brand Build.

    Best of Luck
    Abhilash.
