StartupsNigeria.com Sponsors BarCamp Nigeria

Naija Bloggers Award 2009 - Who You Be?

This week, the Naija Bloggers Award was launched with the theme: Who You Be? and nominations have already commenced. Hmm, so quick??? 

Nominations started from Tuesday, February 24th until Wednesday, March 5th to nominate bloggers for Category A. After that, the nominees for each category and voting for category A will begin.

The 2009 Naija Bloggers Award is being organized by Sting, Toluwa, Naijagirl, and the now retired Geisha.

EventArcade - Free Global User-Generated Events Portal

If you are looking for a platform to host your events and post your event news and updates for free, EventArcade.com is the place.

EventArcade is a user-generated event listing site that allows you to post any kind of event from every part of the world - festivals, concerts, conferences, carnivals, exhibitions, religious programmes, luncheons, seminars, trainings, symposiums, summits, tours and so on. The events can be those you plan to attend, those you are organizing, those you got a scoop about, or even those you are sponsoring.

The idea is to build a large community of event organisers, participants as well as sponsors who come together to share their experiences and thoughts about these events. Launched in early January 2009, the site is built using Wordpress functionalities and is managed by Nigerian blogger and Startups Nigeria columnist, Mutiu Okediran.

BarCamp Nigeria Just Launched Website!
